Jillian Laue, PT, DPT
Jillian, originally from Darien, Illinois, moved to Michigan and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Western Michigan University (WMU). While at WMU, she played varsity volleyball and helped lead the team to the Sweet-16 in the 2008 NCAA tournament.
She went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University (GVSU) in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2013. Her final research at GVSU was “The effectiveness of yoga as an intervention in the treatment of patients with chronic low back pain: a systematic review.”
Jillian spent time learning in several different clinics in Illinois, Washington, and Michigan. She has also practiced physical therapy in North Carolina.
She has experience treating runners, tri-athletes, and military personnel which fueled her passion for treating competitive athletes of all ages. She is interested in continuing sports physical therapy and increasing her manual physical therapy skills. Jillian plans on pursuing certification in both areas in the future.
Jillian moved to the Colorado Springs area last year with her husband, Andy. She enjoys a very active lifestyle, swimming, cycling, running, and playing pick-up volleyball.
