Scott Runyon, DPT
Scott is a native of Central Illinois. He graduated from University of Illinois with a Bachelors in Kinesiology and then went on to Rosalind Franklin University to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014. Immediately after graduation, he spent time as traveling contract physical therapist, living in several states, including Alaska and South Carolina, just to name a few. He became experienced in a variety of areas, from home health to hospital-based care to orthopedic physical therapy. His passion lies in orthopedics and he is excited to be part of the team at Total Function.
Scott married his wife, Heather, in 2016. They decided to trade in the view of soybeans for a view of Pikes Peak and move to Colorado Springs because of their passion for outdoor activities and beautiful scenery. Scott enjoys hiking, fishing, kayaking, and most team sports. He is also a loyal fan of his St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, Pittsburgh Steelers, and, of course, the Fighting Illini!
