To get the best outcome for your therapy your therapist will give you tasks to do at home.

This could include avoiding certain painful positions or situations at home or at work, it could be training and practice on your side to improve your body mechanics for sleeping, sitting, standing, lifting, carrying or other house hold or work related activities.

Flexibility, strength, coordination, balance or walking training and many other types of activities can be given so you can continue to improve at home independence of your therapist.

The amount of time you spent on getting your body and especially your injured body in better shape, stronger, more relaxed, more aware of what you do with it is directly related to  the final outcome.
