Rachel grew up in West Michigan but has lived in several different states. She moved to Iowa to attend Dordt University where she played collegiate soccer and earned her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science with minors in Psychology and Biomedical Science. She continued her education at Marshall University in West Virginia to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Rachel and her husband moved to Colorado to enjoy the mountains. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, camping, and baking.
Rachel brings a strong clinical background in general orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, pre- and post-operative care, vestibular disorders, headaches, TMJD, and general neurological rehabilitation. Rachel is certified in dry needling and cupping therapy. She also incorporates instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and myofascial release techniques into her treatment approach to help patient restore function and improve quality of life. Rachel is dedicated to helping her patients reach their goals and be able to participate in the activities they love.
